"Gigi, all of 7 pounds and 13 years old, was doing her duty Tuesday when she chased a burglar out of her owner's residence and down a north Stockton street.
The burglar, clutching several pieces of jewelry just stolen from 81-year-old Bernice Malloy's home, then stopped, turned back and scooped up the barking Maltese before fleeing in a white car."
