Pit Bull or Rottweiler Boxer mix??

This is a sad story about a family and their dog.

Judging from this picture I don't think he looks like a pit bull but...

What do you guys think about pit bull rules that are becoming more and more common? Does it ensure our safety or does it needlessly discriminate??

	I'm going to go with a lab/boxer. That fur is definitely a lab, and the ears and the head with a boxer. No pitt bull to my eyes. I have heard that the shelters and vets are now just putting 'mixed' down on the breed. This way they are head responsible for sniffing out a pitt bull, rott, or dobie in the genetic soup. posted by yawningdog on 05/11/2006 at 06:44 pm

	I have what was supposed to be a lab/border collie mix. After looking at pictures I was torn between pitt and boxer instead of border collie. After reading a bit about the boxers characteristics I'm sure my dog is a boxador. He's so ugly he's cute. 	i have raised and bred rottweilers my whole life ( www.vonderfaultline.net) and i can tell you that dog is half rottweiler but definitely does not have any pit bull in it. posted by hollidy on 07/30/2006 at 03:33 pm
