PUGGLES???!!!

Even tough-guy "Soprano" James Gandolfini recently bought one of the black-nosed rascals.

"Everyone is clawing for them, it's ridiculous," said Brian Incovaia of Metro Puppy Kennels in Forest Hills, Queens. "I get people calling left and right for them and basically you get the equivalent of breeding a Marc Jacobs bag with a Louis Vuitton."

Although you all know where ModernPooch stands on buying pedidgree or bred dogs versus adopting from the pound, these guys are so cute! Google Images samples:

My puggle is 10 months old. She is just the sweetest little puppy. By the time she was just 4 months old she was able to sit, shake, speak, crawl, lay down, roll over, etc. She is very smart! She was a little more difficult to house train than the german shepherd I had in the past, but this was likely due to my lack of time spent training. I urge you to get a puggle - she, Mona, has brought great joy to my family. My daughter loves to play dress up with her - yes, she has a couple of shirts, etc.

I have 2 puggles and they are the greatest dogs. They are so smart and so friendly. I would recommend getting them. My puggles are the greatest. They are also great with children.

These guys are incredibly cute! I hope that they will not be prone to any diseases or medical conditions. It has been awhile since I've seen anything sooooooo cute!

They are absolutely adorable, and I think I've seen one or two in my neighborhood. What concerns me, though, is that once they stop being "fashionable", they could find themselves in pounds, too. But then maybe someone who cares more about ALL DOGS than about FASHION or TREND wilL give a discarded, pre-owned and dis-loved puggle a new and better home.

Dogs are not accessories, and I hate knowing that that's what they are to way too many people. :-(

I have had my pug mix, (she looks like a puggle, but I am not sure of the fathers breed) for almost a year and I had no idea how popular they were until two days ago. I have never felt this way about a dog before. She is the absolout love of my life!

I adopted a puggle a few months ago at a Animal Shelter in Massachussets. He is 2 years old and his name is Remy. I paid $125.00 for him and at the time I did not know how popular his breed was. I just found out a couple days ago that he is a popular breed that goes for hundreds of dollars. When I took my kids (Andrew and Victoria) to the animal shelter to see what dogs they had for adoption, we saw Remy and we just fell in love with his adorable face. He is so playful and lovable. He makes a great family dog. Remy has become one of the family!

I own a puggle. He is the highlight of my life. He is a year old and weighs about 30 pounds. Loving and full of life he loves people and my cat. Although I'm not sure the feeling is mutual. Puggle ( that's his name too) is a handsome blonde, with the black mask of the pug. His tail is probably my favorite part of him, It has three turns in it! All in all, I have had several pets and dogs, the Puggle breed is by far the best choice of all that I have owned.

I had a puggle dog and after realizing there value I want to shoot my foot. I cant belive these dogs are so valuable. I got mine for free but due to my busy day scheduale, it was hard to take care of him. I gave him away to a family with 4 kids and there all much happier. I could of sold him for some serious cash.
