Like all the other evacuees, Leo's picture was put on the petfinders.com website, where they post thousands of reports of animals both lost and found....His owners mentioned the bald spot and unique haircut. They said they saved so many people in St. Bernard, but there was one more they wanted to save...Dakota's family saw the Humane Society's report with a picture of the pooch.

"So that haircut saved that dog's life," said Jan McHugh-Smith of the Humane Society.
